A purse is a big investment, especially if you get a a nice designer one.  I recently plunged and bought the cutest MICHAEL by Michael Kors purse which I ADORE!!  (Kind of like Betsy’s Christmas present to herself). 

Since I spent quite a bit of money on it, I want to keep it nice. So I went out and bought the Joey Junior Purse Hanger, its this little hanger that you can put on restaurant tables, bars etc. so the bottom of your purse doesn’t get disgusting. I love it!!! Its really stylish too! I love the jewel on it, and you can get it in Sapphire Blue or Black Diamond (I chose black diamond).

When I was on their site getting my purse hanger (www.joeyjunior.com) I also came across another amazing invention, the Purse mate.  Since it looked cute and seemed to be a good idea considering how much crap I carry in my bag, I compulsively ordered it (in Mountain Zebra of course)….I have to say after using it for a week I can’t imagine not having one.  Everything is so organized…my lip gloss, palm pilot, blackberry, sunglasses keys wallet…EVERYTHING! And I love the Suede!

A lot of celebrities are rocking the Purse Mate right now as well: Angelina Jolie, Sharon Stone, Courtney Cox Arquette, Megan Mullally and Molly Simms, just to name a few. 

I’m getting my mom, my sister and my aunt one for Christmas and I’m going to put some little goodies (lip gloss etc) in the pockets for them before I wrap it. (I know)…So cute!

These are hilarious…my boss brought me back these postcards from her trip to Australia. Aussie Bum is a pretty popular men’s line in Australia, if your man thinks of himself as an individual, these are definitely the whitey tighties for him!!  Enjoy!!

So I just had the most stressful speed shopping session at the mall trying to find a dress for my company holiday party!!!!  Every dress that I thought looked “chic and fabulous”,  either didn’t fit me right (my chest just doesn’t fit in those bauble dresses) or ended up making me look like a street walker (you know those sexy sequined little things that look fabulous on the models?). 

Anyway,  I finally ended up finding

a dress that I think will be great for my Christmas party.  It is chic-sophistocated and flattering! Yay! For only around $130 dollars it is a steal and I can wear it out or to the office. I love it!  I plan on wearing it with black opaque tights and I bought the Panama Mary Jane shoes (so cute!) featured on the model as well.  Get the Michael Kors Chain-Trim shift dress for yourself at www.michaelkors.com, you will love it!

One of my girlfriends, ever since I’ve known her, has had the worst stomach problems in the world, which have led to many goose bump worthy bathroom episodes meal after meal…

  She went to specialist after specialist and finally found out the she had a Gluten Allergy…  It turns out that this is a quite common allergy that most people don’t realize they have!  Just this week I met another person with a gluten allergy!

 Celiac disease, also known as gluten intolerance, is a genetic disorder that affects at least 3 million Americans, or about 1 in 133 people. Gluten  makes up 80% of the protein found in wheat seed and is in most of the food we eat every day! 

 Ever since this friend of mine acknowledged her allergy and started a wheat free diet she has been fine!  It has been kind of hard for her not to eat gluten seeing as it is included at most dishes in restaurants, bread, beer, pasta etc.. but she has never felt better and has lost a considerable amount of weight as well! But how the hell is she supposed to enjoy all the baked goodies that come with the Holiday Season?!

 Well,  there are actually many companies out there that turning GLUTEN FREE!  One that comes in mind and is very fitting for the upcoming holiday season is Apple’s Bakery.

Apple’s is now introducing a gluten-free menu that allows those who live with gluten intolerance to still enjoy the best of the best in fresh baked goodness.  Gluten-free cookies include Dusty Miller Molasses, Spice Gem, an assortment box of Chocolate Chip, Butterscotch Walnut, White Cranberry Chip and White Macadamia Nut, a box of a Chocolate Cherry Ranch Cookies, and a box of Lemon Drop Sugar Cookies.
